| Event title: | Learning to Advocate for an Effective IEP |
| Description/type of event (conference, monthly meeting, training, etc.): |
The IEP (Individualized Education Program) is a very important document for
children with disabilities and for those who are involved in educating them.
An effective one should improve teaching, learning and results. Each child's
IEP describes, among other things, the educational program that has been
designed to meet that child's unique needs and is developed by a team. Our speaker for this workshop will be Rita Kenison, Director of Education and Training for Raising Special Kids. |
