Event title: ADA Celebration - Coming Full Circle
Description/type of event (conference, monthly meeting, training, etc.): Coming Full Circle - Getting Back to the Original Intent of the ADA.
19th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
Come celebrate with us! Speakers! Awards! Good Friends and Food!
Learn what's new with the ADA!

The Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 was intended to "provide a clear and comprehensive national mandate for the elimination of discrimination against individuals with disabilities." Unfortunately, since 1999, several U.S. Supreme Court and other lower court decisions have significantly narrowed the definition of disability. The ADA Restoration Act was passed nationally in 2007, but the Arizona ADA law needs to come into alignment with the federal legislation. Join us in celebration and help us kick off our campaign to do just that! It isn't a party without you!

The party is in the Capitol Towers lobby on July 24th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. RSVP so we can have enough refreshments to: johnb@abil.org or call John at (602) 443-0738.
